East Paulding Raiders Varsity Blows Away Douglas County By 12 Runs
East Paulding Raiders Varsity had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Douglas County 13-1. The Raiders got things moving in the first inning. Kayla Berry drove in one when Berry doubled. East scored six runs in the third inning. Amberleigh Hawn, Ansleigh Broome, Madison Moreland, and Cayden Warren each drove in runs during the inning.
Abby Pendergrass led the East Paulding Raiders Varsity to victory in the circle. The righty surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Freshman #3 Dallas Hill took the loss for Douglas County. Hill allowed eight hits and 13 runs over three and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.
East Paulding Raiders Varsity racked up eight hits on the day. Broome and Madi Curtis each had multiple hits for East Paulding Raiders Varsity. Broome went 3-for-3 at the plate to the Raiders in hits. East was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Curtis made the most plays with six.
