Varsity & JV Coaching Staff 2024
 Dean Burrell | Coach Burrell is entering his 6th season at the helm of the East Paulding softball team. In his first five seasons, he has helped lead the Raiders to three straight postseason appearances including Sweet Sixteen following the 2018 and 2019 seasons. His 2019 team finished runner-up in region 7-5A. Prior to coming to East Paulding, Coach Burrell was the head coach at Lewisburg High School in Olive Branch, MS where his teams won or shared 5 district titles and made the postseason in all but one season. He was born into a softball family, as his father played men's fastpitch for several years. Coach Burrell then followed in his father's footsteps and began playing fastpitch softball towards the end of his high school years. He has 21 years in education and coaching in both Mississippi and Georgia with 15 of those years being either an assistant or head softball coach. Coach Burrell teaches US History at East Paulding, and he also serves as assistant coach for our Girls' Basketball program. He is married to Melissa and has two children, Whit and Sara Wynn, who live in Mississippi, and one stepdaughter, Mattie Kate who is a member of our softball team at East. |
 Joe Tenoschok | Coach Tenoschok is returning to the Raiders softball program where he was an assistant for the 2015 season and will be entering his 14th season coaching either baseball or softball. Coach T began his coaching career at his Alma Mater, North Cobb HS, coaching the fall baseball teams. He then coached travel baseball at East Cobb before returning to high school where he spent 4 years at Sprayberry. While at Sprayberry, he was an assistant baseball and softball coach and helped lead the 2014 baseball team to a Region 7-AAAAA Championship. In 2015, Coach T came to East Paulding and has been an assistant baseball coach. Between Sprayberry and East Paulding, he has had numerous baseball and softball players go on to play college and a few baseball players get drafted. Coach T teaches Math at East Paulding. He is married to Molly and they have a son, Gatlin (1), and are expecting their second child in December. |
 Abbie Warren | Coach Abbie Warren is a 2018 graduate of Paulding County High School where she was 2017 Paulding County Player of The Year for softball. In that year she broke the county’s single game strikeout record. After high school she went on to attend the University of North Georgia, playing for three years and a student coach in her final year. During her UNG career she was a part of 3 conference titles and tournament championships, and went to the College World Series where they finished in the top 4 for two consecutive years. After college she coached at Haralson County earning a Sweet 16 finish and state runner up for Slow Pitch. The 2024/2025 school year will be her second season at East Paulding where she looks forward to continuing their winning culture. |
