East Paulding Raiders JV Drops Game To North Paulding JV After Late Score
East Paulding Raiders JV stayed in it until the end, but North Paulding JV pulled away late in a 4-1 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at one with North Paulding batting in the top of the fifth when L Jones singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Jones got the win for North Paulding. Jones went six innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out six and walking one. Maddie Chauvin started the game for East. Chauvin surrendered four runs on seven hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Two of the four runs were earned and the other two were unearned due to fielding errors. Austyn Barber finished the game for the Raiders. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over one and one-third innings, walking zero.
Maddie Chauvin reached first base twice and scored the team’s single run. Macey Strickland, Reese Marcus, Emma Howey, and Barber each managed one hit to lead East. P Doyle led North Paulding JV with three hits in three at bats.
