East Paulding Raiders JV Loses Lead Early In Defeat
East Paulding Raiders JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 12-0 loss to Lassiter (Marietta, GA) on Friday. Lassiter took the lead on a in the first inning. The Raiders defense struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lassiter, allowing 12 runs.
A Blackwell led things off in the circle for Lassiter. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out seven and walking zero. Maddie Chauvin led things off in the pitcher’s circle for East Paulding Raiders JV. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing 17 hits and 12 runs while striking out one and walking one.
Lassiter saw the ball well today, racking up 17 hits in the game. G Whalen, C Francis, A Gue, E Bennett, and K Wyman each racked up multiple hits for Lassiter High. Whalen went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead Lassiter in hits. The team was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. J Schneider made the most plays with five.
